Meet The Trainers

Lead Trainer, Thomas Oblinsky has been training Labrador Retriever professionally since 1995. Tom holds an associates degrees in Business Administration, Logistics Management and Education and Training. His bachelor's degree is in Human Resource Development. He also holds a Master's Degree in Pubic Affairs and PHD in Leadership. Tom served in the USAF for 12 years while training Labs. Tom provides all Transition and Advanced training and serves as lead trainer. Tom has a passion for retriever training and it shows in the quality of dog that are produced at TTRLABS. Tom also enjoys seeing his training in action in the duck or goose blind.

Lead Trainer, Bobbie Oblinsky provides our puppies education in obedience, marking and kennel training. Bobbie will handle all dogs until they are ready to enter the force fetch or collar conditioning. She also steps in during these phases to aid in the process and finishes the force fetch by teaching the walking fetch. Bobbie is the key to the success of our started dog program and spends a lot of time building the young pups up and bringing all of the natural desire out of the dog.

Two of our bird boys, Chad and Josh provide help at all levels of the dogs advancement through training. They work with the very young pups and help them become playful. Start short marks in our narrow hallway in our shop. This teaches the dogs to got get it and bring it back. They shot flyers and throw marks several times a day in between subjects. Both Chad and Josh are avid duck and goose hunters.
